The successful operation of Constellation Schools relies on the efforts of parents. Faculty and staff make every effort to ensure that parents feel as though they are an integral part of the education of their children.
Parents should become partners with the school through numerous ways. Suggestions include:
Driving on special outings
Helping teachers make materials
Sharing a special subject
Pitching in on fundraising events
Lending a hand with building and ground maintenance
Parents are always welcome to have lunch with their children; however, teachers must be consulted ahead of time.
Families are asked to contribute at least ten hours per school year in volunteer time, so teachers make certain that parents feel their time has been spent productively. This partnership between the school and parents will create an optimal learning environment.
Any adult having interaction with the students will be required to have a criminal background check.
